Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This policy explains what FunnelSnag ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and Chrome extension, why, and what you can do about it. FunnelSnag is operated by Usman Builds AI. Contact: support@funnelsnag.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, a securely hashed version of your password (we never store the password itself), and the GoHighLevel agency relationship number if you enter one.
- License and usage data: the ID of the GoHighLevel agency (company) and sub-accounts (locations) you paste into, how many pages you paste and when. We use this to apply your plan, count the free allowance and lock a paid license to one agency.
- Device ID: the extension creates a random ID for your browser. It contains nothing about you or your computer. It's kept in the extension's storage and, if Chrome sync is on, in your Google account's synced extension storage. We link it to your account and usage, so an account works on one signed-in device at a time and the free pages are counted per device.
- Sign-up network check: when you create an account, we keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for 24 hours, to limit how many accounts one network can create. We don't store your raw IP address for this.
- Sign-in sessions: a session cookie on our website, and a login token stored in the extension. Both only identify your signed-in session.
- AI requests (AI plan only): when you use AI rewrite or the AI funnel review, the page text or funnel data involved is sent through our server to our AI provider to produce the result. We record how much AI usage each account uses per month.
- Payments: handled by our payment provider (Paddle), which acts as merchant of record. We receive your subscription status and plan, never your card details.
What the extension does and doesn't access
- It only acts on a browser tab when you click its icon, use its right-click menu or its keyboard shortcut there.
- On a published GoHighLevel page, it reads the funnel and page IDs, names and paths that the page already contains. On a breakdown, it reads the visible content of that funnel's public pages.
- Inside your GoHighLevel account, it uses the session you're already signed in with to create funnels and pages and edit them as you ask. We never see or store your GoHighLevel password or session.
- What you copy (funnel IDs, names, screenshots), your library, saved sections and brand profile are stored in your browser, not on our servers. The brand profile is sent to our server only as part of an AI request.
How we use it
To run your account, apply your plan and license, keep each account to one signed-in device, provide the AI features, prevent abuse of the free plan, keep the service secure, and answer support requests. We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Our hosting provider, which runs our servers and database.
- Our payment provider, Paddle, to process subscriptions.
- Our AI provider, Anthropic, for AI requests you make on the AI plan.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account and license data are kept while your account exists. Usage counts, including per-device counts, are kept to apply the free allowance per agency and per device. Hashed sign-up network records are deleted after 24 hours. When you delete your account, we delete your personal details within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
Your choices and rights
You can see and edit your details on your account page, sign out of any device, and ask us to export or delete your data by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights, such as to object to processing or complain to a data protection authority.
Security
Passwords are hashed, sessions are stored as one-way hashes, and connections use HTTPS in production. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Children
FunnelSnag is a business tool and isn't meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and tell you by email for significant changes.
